You’ve asked and we’ve listened! Owner and host of Petite and Sweet TV, Elle Daftarian has partnered with Creative Bag to walk you through her process of designing Petite & Sweet signature dessert tables! Once you’ve seen the episode, visit us here for free recipes and printables that we’ll be posting to make it a little easier for you to create your very own tables.
With Easter just around the corner, we’ve decided to throw an Easter party!
This may seem like a lot, but putting together a sweet table doesn’t have to be time consuming or stressful. Take a look below for Elle Daftarian’s easy six-step guide on how you can easily recreate this look!
To simplify the process, always start by creating an inspiration board to guide yourself and keep the planning on track. Check out the one we created for our Easter Sweet table below! Remember to keep in mind a color pallet as you’re gathering your images. We recommend choosing two to four colors.
This is the time to figure out the food you’d like to have on your table. We strongly believe that you should give your guests the option of two to four bite sized treats. We’ve used cakepops, coconut egg nest cupcakes, marshmallows, and candy in our pastel color pallet. Check out the recipe for our delicious coconut egg nest cupcakes with chocolate buttercream below!
The third step is to figure out a drink option to offer your guests. Keeping our color pallet in mind, we’ve chosen a pink lemonade for our festive Easter table.
We believe that a great way to customize your table is to create pintables. Our talented graphics team has created some fun pintables for you to use or your own Easter tables including some fun photo booth props. Check out the link and have some fun!
Our favorite part of this process is putting together all the pieces to bring the table to life. In order to do that, you’re going to need to gather objects that you can use for vessels and tie in all those beautiful colors by using ribbons, flowers, risers and décor. We’re lucky enough to have Creative Bag as our partner! Take a look at their website for everything you see on our table today, and a whole lot more!
Our final step is to have fun and put everything together!
If you have the chance to create your own Easter sweet tables, send us your pictures for us to share with our followers!

The Petite & Sweet team wishes everyone a great year ahead!
The Petite & Sweet team has been so happy to be a part of so many wonderful events this holiday season. From birthdays to product launches to extravagant Christmas celebrations, our wonderful crew has put their all into making each one special and unique. Take a look below for some amazing pictures!
To start off this holiday season, we were pleased to help continue a treasured family tradition for one of our favourite clients by helping with the décor and sweet table for ‘Tea with Nonna.’ Keeping the kids in mind, we made huge gingerbread man cut-outs and created a decorating corner where the kids could make their own gingerbread creations to take home! Big jolly Santa even made an appearance and stayed for photos and wish list taking!
In an exciting new development, 1MILK2SUGARS PR asked us to participate in two wonderful beauty product launches with them. First up was the Tria Beauty home laser hair removal’s Canadian launch. For this great hair removal product, we designed a sweet table in coordinating pastel colours and created a matching backdrop with real hydrangeas popping out of foam core & vinyl 2D vases. As a special treat for the media in attendance, we created 30 individual Christmas stockings that were the key to a Tria Beauty gift!
We then designed a spectacular cake for the opening of the Clarisonic counter at The Bay. This cake featured a larger-than-life Clarisonic skincare face brush made from delicious chocolate cake and ganache that even surprised the Beckerman sisters!
We were thrilled to cater the launch of the Burt’s Bees Skin Brightening line at the Andrew Richard Designs Center. With a yellow and white theme, we filled the room with huge yellow balloons and arrangements of daisies. Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal and were gifted some amazing products from the new Burt’s Bees line!
We celebrated with ERS for their Christmas party at The Berkeley House and designed a Phantom of the Opera themed sweet table complete with a grand piano! Guests came dressed in black and white with their masks in hand, and enjoyed a variety of black, white, and red mini tarts, cupcakes and macaroons.
We’re always so happy when Holt Renfrew Yorkdale asks us to be part of their many fabulous and trendy events. In the past couple of weeks we had the pleasure of catering for Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes who sipped on our signature mocktails while greeting fans of her blog.
We then celebrated with Holt Renfrew Yorkdale at Airship 37 for their holiday party! Holt Renfrew Yorkdale employees enjoyed both sweet and savory treats, a fun Christmas themed photo booth, and live Dj!
